Velas Sudamérica 2010, San Diego terminal of Santo Domingo port

From June 3th to June 9th, 2010

Dominican Republic will be able to show to the world its beauty and its historical charms during the great international maritime encounter Velas Sudamérica 2010. Sailboats representing different countries of America will celebrate the bicentenary of continent’s in dependency, in 1810.

The event will count with the participation of 13 countries and will take place in the Don Diego terminal of Santo Domingo port.

At the occasion of the National Theater Festival 2010 , dedicated to Rafael Villalona and Danilo Taveras, this beautiful exposition was organized, with photos of Mariano Hernández.

XIV edition of Caribbean Tourism Exchange 2010, Conventions Center of Dominican Fiesta, Santo Domingo

The president of the Caribbean Tourism Exchange (BTC), Luis Felipe Aquino, said the XIV edition of the Caribbean Tourism Exchange, to be held from the 17th to the 19^th of June, is the perfect forum to promote the city of Santo Domingo as a tourist destination throughout Latin America, Central America and the Caribbean.

Felipe Aquino said in his interview, that during the Fourteenth Edition of the Caribbean Tourism Exchange, Santo Domingo will project itself as a destination that has a variety of cultural and natural attractions that can generate a market demand of the area.

According to the President of the BTC, this event, which will be held in the Convention Center of the Dominican Fiesta Hotel, will serve to demonstrate the history, the cuisine and the excellent hotel industry of the country.
