The Mexican singer Belinda will be presented in a unique concert for the Dominican Republic within the framework of her world Tour, in which she will sing songs of her Utopia disc and others hits of her career.

It’s expected that the singer sings Ni Freud ni tu mama, Bella Traición, Luz Sin Gravedad, Ángel, Never enough y Lo siento, songs that received very good criticisms.

It is a very complete concert that counts on all the current technological resources, where she will play guitar and battery in addtion of singing says Saymond Díaz.

The Mexican young band whose members are Anahí, Alfonso, Dulce, Christian, Christopher and Maite, will be on next April 11 in Palacio de los Deportes of Santo Domingo.

For this occasion the RBD teenagers will be for the second time in front of hundreds of Dominican fans who follow them since their beginnings.

The band that became famous thanks to the serie Rebelde is realizing an intense Tour around the United States.

The young people will visit the Dominican capital under the responsibility of Conciertos Saymon Diáz that ensures that it will be a unique and memorable representation, with a first class production.

Tickets cost between 800 and 5000 pesos.

Enrique Iglesias in the Quisqueya Stadium, Santo Domingo

Enrique IglesiasInsomniac World Tour of Enrique Iglesias will be presented on April 18 in the Quisqueya stadium, with a production in which the star of Hispanic music will sing his greatest hits and the songs from his album of the same name.

Tickets at accessible prices are for sale in UepaTickets and movie max, in the commercial office of Orange, and in the Orange Express Case.

The prices are: Orange platform 500.00 pesos, Presidente Platform, 500.00 pesos, Platform Bravo 750.00 pesos, and VIP Golden Arena : 2,500.00 pesos.

Santo Domingo’s 2008 International Book Fair will begin on 21 April and go on until 4 May. The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture.

The spotlight this year will be on the 28 Caribbean countries. In addition, the fair is dedicated to the Dominican historical compiler Emilio Rodriguez Demorizi, who is a leading source of reference for historians and researchers.

The theme of the fair will be Be seduced by reading.

The event will again take place in the Plaza de la Cultura surrounding the National Theater.

Caribbean Animal Welfare Conference, Melia Hotel, Santo Domingo

The training conference brings together Caribbean animal welfare groups, government officials and others working on animal issues in the Caribbean.

Some topics that will be discussed include animal welfare education, disaster management, marine wildlife protection, how to run a more effective animal protection organization, and more topics to be added.
